Revitalize Your City Drive With the 2025 Mazda3

Power and Performance

The Mazda3 is available with either a 191-horsepower four-cylinder engine or a 250-hp turbo-four that gets 320 pound-feet of torque. Pair each engine with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Most trims have a six-speed automatic transmission, but you can get a six-speed manual with the available Premium Package. Hatchback versions have standard AWD with paddle shifters and a Sport mode.

Depending on engine and body style, you’ll get up to 37 highway miles per gallon in the Mazda3. The standard G-Vectoring Control Plus system makes small adjustments for a smoother, more stable ride.

Interior Space and Features

The sedan gives you more than 13 cubic feet of cargo space, but you’ll have over 20 cubic feet if you go with the hatchback. Both come with convenience features such as remote keyless entry and push-button start. An advanced version of the keyless entry system is also available.

As you move up the Mazda3 lineup, you’ll find additions like synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. You can also enhance the cabin with a power-sliding moonroof and heated power-adjustable front seats. Red leather upholstery is available for a bold look, or go traditional with white or black leather upholstery.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The Mazda3 earned a five-star overall crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in 2025. The car incorporates high-tech safety features across the lineup, including standard pedestrian detection, forward auto emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring.

You’ll also have standard LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights. The top trim adds front and rear parking sensors as well as a 360-degree surround-view camera system.

Infotainment Tech

The base model of the Mazda3 comes with an 8.8-inch touchscreen that features both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The software system uses an intuitive rotary dial for its controls. This car also includes dual USB ports and a six-speaker stereo. Standard Amazon Alexa voice commands are new for 2025.

You can upgrade to a 10.25-inch touchscreen that comes with the wireless versions of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. An enhanced eight-speaker stereo and a 12-speaker Bose system are also offered.
